藤原北家.佐賀県鹿島市高津原字鷲ノ巣[恩瓊神社]を発祥の地とする.天正4[1576]年に,龍造寺隆信[1529-84]が藤津鹿島へと侵攻した際に,有馬晴信[1567-1612]方の岩永和泉守忠茂は鷲ノ巣で迎え撃ったという.有馬氏の防衛線は松岡城・横造城・鳥附城と鷲ノ巣城が担った.岩永和泉守忠茂の墓も近くにある.
家紋は丸に板屋貝など.
