埼玉県川口市芝中田を発祥の地とする.中田安斎入道安行[-1533]は安行村の開発領主として知られる.また,川口市大字安行吉岡の曹洞宗金剛寺の開基でもある.なお,中田安齊入道安行の子の吉岡将監は領家村の南の安行村附吉岡組の小名である殿山の地に陣屋を構えたと伝わる.
