青森県弘前市独狐字笹元を発祥の地とする.大浦為信の津軽統一に寄与した軍功により,砂子瀬勘解由が若狭館[笹森館;弘前市独狐字笹元]を得て笹森を称したことが起源.笹森勘解由は菊池刑部・山上衛門佐・七戸修理と大間越奉行を務めた.
