三国国造後裔氏族.越前国坂井郡三国[福井県坂井市三国町]を本拠地とした古代豪族.応神天皇の子・稚渟毛二派皇子[わかぬけふたまたのみこ]の子である意富富杼王[おおほどのおおきみ],もしくは,継体天皇の子・椀子皇子[まろこのみこ]を祖とする.なお,意富富杼王の曾孫が継体天皇.
家紋は亀甲花菱など.
