兵庫県,大阪府,鹿児島県に分布.鹿児島県[薩摩]の長浜氏は桓武平氏渋谷氏の支流.宝治元年の合戦の恩賞として祁答院・東郷・鶴田・入来院・高城の地頭職を得て,相模国高座郡渋谷荘[神奈川県大和市・藤沢市・綾瀬市]を本拠としていた渋谷光重が1248[宝治2]年に子供を下向させたことが起源.鹿児島の永濱氏はこの長浜氏の転訛とも推測される.
地名としては鹿児島県霧島市永浜がある.
