紀氏族.若狭国遠敷郡松永荘を拠点とした紀松永を祖とすると伝わる.戦国大名の松永久秀[1508-1577]は摂津国五百住の土豪出身とされるが,この松永氏の末裔ともされる.松永久秀の伯祖母妙精は播磨国の出身であるという.家紋は蔦など.
