三重県鈴鹿市南長太町を発祥の地とする.須伎神社の氏子であることに由来か.須伎神社は『延喜式神名帳』にある「須支神社[伊勢国・河曲郡]」に比定される.江戸時代には,石津天王,杉野明神とも称された.家紋は丸に五三の桐など.
