典型的な印象派の画家と言われるアルフレッド・シスレー[Alfred Sisley, 1839-10-30/1899-01-29]の1882年の作品.
シスレーは1889年にパリ郊外にある,セーヌ河とロワン川が合流するモレ＝シュル＝ロワン[Moret-sur-Loing]へと移住し人生の最後の時期を過ごした.
