先コロンブス期[the pre-Columbian]のテオティワカン文明[Teotihuacan;200BCE/c.550CE]の仮面.なお,テオティワカンは北アメリカ大陸で最初の高度な文明と考えられ,人口は12万5千人以上と推定され当時の世界で十指に入る都市であったとされる.
